Program
- Opening Session
- To kick off the event, the first day will start with a grand opening ceremony followed by an opening speech from the Event Chairman. There will be a preview of the seminars and workshops and other activities, which participants can expect throughout the 3 days of GISWORX. This will also include an introduction of the seminars and workshops speakers. A special note and announcement will come from the event primary sponsor, HP Middle East.
- Seminars & Workshops
- Over 25 seminars and workshops will be available to delegates during the 3-day event. A delegate can attend a total of five workshops or seminars during this event. Each participant will get a certificate listing all the workshops/seminars he attended.
- All seminars and workshops will take place in the meeting rooms (Al Thuraya Ballroom A, B, C and Almas Suites) of the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers. The seminar and workshops, presented by ESRI and business partners, will include case studies and GIS specialist presentations on software, industry applications and systems.
- GIS Community Exhibition
- The exhibition will feature GIS related hardware and software solutions from business and technology partners of ESRI and is expected to attract local vendors and of reputed servers, workstations, and display hardware.
- An area of the exhibition will feature a display of GIS related projects and accomplishments by users of ESRI software
- The exhibition will be set up in the foyer outside of the Al Thuraya Ballroom
- Evening Cocktail Reception & Networking
- An evening cocktail awaits participants right after each day’s seminar and workshop sessions. This provides a good opportunity for participants to get together and network with peers in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by enjoyable food and drinks. This will happen right in the GIS Community Exhibition, where participants can take a look at what business partners has to offer through their latest hardware and software solutions.
